I used to share food and recipes all the time on my old blog and I felt inspired to take another crack at sharing some delicious vegan goodies I made recently. My birthday was a few days ago and I made myself some Vegan Pumpkin Cheesecake Bites! I can't say I made this up because it's very similar to a recipe from Isa Chandra Moskowitz for Mini Raspberry Cheesecakes. I liked the idea of the original recipe when I made it, buuuuuttttttt I don't like berries and chocolate so I wanted to switch it up. I was hoping this recipe could be transformed into something I was stoked about. I hope I inspire someone to try to make them too!

This is a really simple DIY even if you're a newbie at sewing. It involves scrap material and I bet most of you can make these this weekend without buying any new materials! I've made similar coaster to these before and they held up really well over time. I decided to revamp the idea for Halloween!
For this project, you will need: -white scrap fabric -black scrap fabric -scrap cotton batting -felt -scrap paper -paper scissors -fabric scissors -chalk marking tool -thread -a sewing machine Are you enjoying the first few days of fall?! With the first official day of fall being only a few days ago, I thought something extra special was in order. I feel like it's been a while since I assembled a DIY, but I'm pumped for this one! I made a Halloween Wreath a few years ago, but it wasn't anything exciting so I knew I wanted to make something better for this year's Spooky Saturdays. I purchased very little for this wreath and, because it's made with scrap fabric, could be edited for any occasion or color palette! I saw something similar a while back on Pinterest and after a different project ended up having a lot of leftover orange fabric I knew I had the perfect use for it.
After my mental vacation in Florida, I thought a 30 day creative challenge would be the perfect thing to get me back on track.
The following is a list that I created based on other 30 day challenges I've seen on line. Others seems bit err... lacking or not applicable to the city that I live in. I attended a craft party last Friday in honor of Etsy's birthday. I know many people around the country hosted or attended similar events and it was awesome to mingle with some creative folk. Some friends and I headed down to Pearl in Fort Lauderdale for the event hosted by the Hollywood Craft Mafia. I had never attended an event quite like this before! Out of the various craft options, I decided to make a stamp which you can see its purpley majesty above. It came out pretty cool, but I was feeling rather uninspired. During the event, we were also given special discounts to Pearl so I took advantage and stocked up on a few things I needed for TMB.
