Welcome To The New Site!

I have been working so hard to revamp The Morose Bee and if you're reading this post that means it's finally happened! I started The Morose Bee in my college dorm room in 2008 as a creative outlet between working and studying. For over 10 years TMB continued to be my little corner of creativity on the internet to sell handmade goods, vintage finds, and even some supplies. This year I've made a huge change and have converted my website and part of my Etsy shop to a full blown online shopping experience and resource for makers!

Now I am continuing to carry destash and vintage supplies similar to what I have offered previously, but now I am also carrying sustainably sourced and environmentally friendly NEW products. I'll be building my line of organic cottons but hope to expand to so much more in the days ahead.

One of the features I am most excited about is the Destash Trade program. I hear it from friends all the time: "I have so much fabric and none of it is inspiring anymore! I want to make new items without the stash I've been staring at for the last several years, but what do I do with my existing collection?" The Morose Bee is here to solve that problem! Similar to a resale clothing shop or supply swap program, you can send your supplies to The Morose Bee in exchange for store credit to shop for updated supplies that make you eager to create! At this time, The Morose Bee only honors store credit for supplies sent in and does not pay cash.

Search through your stash and pack up your like-new supplies to mail to us. Don't forget to include a Destash Trade Form. From the time that we receive your Destash Trade box, we will process it within 2 weeks or less. A fully itemized notice will be sent to you indicating what we are accepting and your amount of store credit. Your store credit will never expire. Shop for amazing new products that make you feel inspired!

I'll still be making handmade goods and will eventually migrate some of those over from Etsy, but in the meantime I'm really trying to focus on offering you the biggest variety of high quality and sustainable fabric and notions.
