While I own a few biographies about Frida, I decided to see what the local Austin library had to offer while gathering swap inspiration for the Viva La Vida Swap. I haven't had a library card since I lived in Boston and I don't know exactly why but I am so impressed with the Austin library. Mini Book Review No. 2

I finished reading Craft Inc a while ago. Ever since I read Crafty Superstar, I've been really into reading craft how-to books both from a business, emotional, and technical aspect. It's like a refined and graceful version of the Etsy forums. Craft Inc. was more of a book for the crafter with corporate dreams. The book is full of info on how to go about locating foreign and/or local factories to pump out large quantities of your wares as well as how to going about hiring assistants and staff. I recently finished reading Crafty Superstar by Grace Dobush. Crafty Superstar was an awesome read full of the most helpful information I have seen so far.During the course of reading this book: I signed up for two samplers Purchased www.themorosebee.com Researched and submitted THREE craft show applications Bookmarked almost every single website she mentions throughout the book and have started checking them daily.
